Hey, I'm the guy who requested Panzer Dragoon Saga above. I think I remember you saying in one of your LPs, maybe Morrowind, that Dark Souls wasn't your bag -- that would probably be the one modern-ish game that I'd enjoy seeing you get through. If it isn't your thing, it isn't your thing though. I'm trying to think of a few RPGs that I haven't played and have no real interest in playing myself but still want to see what they're all about: Riviera: The Promised Land (GBA) Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (GBA) Legend of Legaia (PS1) Thousand Arms (PS1) Jade Cocoon (PS1) Dark Cloud 1 (PS2) I'm actually quite into the Souls franchise in my personal time, I just worry how it would play out in a stream, but I've been considering it more as I get more comfortable with streaming games. Everything else on that list looks pretty good too, so I'll add them. Legend of Legaia is definitely a good one to play, if TTA can familiarize himself with the fairly complexed combat system. I definitely know enough about the game to help him along the way. Played this a fair bit when I was younger, I'll probably try a very magic heavy run when I get around to recording this. He tried doing Dark Cloud, but had problems streaming it on Twitch. Not sure if he's been able to a non-streamed LP of it. Great concept for a game, but some of the boss fights are just such a massive slog. Once I pickup a capture card I'll give it a go though. Throwing in a co-op playthrough of Divinity: Original Sin into the mix. That game has a quite fun and quite deep X-COM-ish battle system and has some interesting co-op dialogue choices to roleplay. Actually the game that got me into streaming, but I had to stop because all the dialogue literally made my jaw sore. Won't be able to do this co-op all the way through unfortunately. On the topic of X-com though, I have my run of that going up on Youtube starting next week. Hey, I requested FFT. Thanks for delivering! Any chance you'll play through Illusion of Gaia? Sure, added to list.

I think with Dark Souls LPs there are a lot of different elements at play to make it enjoyable. If the LPer is new to the game then it's interesting to see how they pick up the game, learn the systems, explore the world, tackle certain challenges and then develop their skills to the point of being able to progress through it. There is also a certain level of Schadenfreude at seeing them fail over and over again of course. Most of the LPs I've watched have been on either that end of the spectrum or speedruns. Haven't seen very many in-between runs where the player knows the game moderately well. Streaming Dark Souls has to be tough due to the added pressure of playing it live in front of a group of people and with the purported omniscience many ego-inflated Internet folks claim, especially when it comes to these games.

Hey everybody, got some suggestions, don't know how viable each one is:
-Silent Storm Sentinels -Syndicate, Syndicate Wars (might be a bit long) or Satellite Reign -One of the Oddworld games, Exodus or Oddyssee maybe -One of the Jagged Alliance games -One of the Metal Slug games for a co-op session maybe -A nice long session of train sim :^)

King's Field (PS) Baten Kaitos Origins (GCN) -- not sure if there are good GameCube emulators Shin Megami Tensei (Super Famicom) -- there is an English translation floating around. Pokemon Red/Blue (GB) -- lol SaGa Frontier (PS1) NIER (Xbox 360/PS3) -- probably a longshot if you can only play on PC. Sakura Wars: So Long My Love (PS2)

SaGa Frontier (PS1) A man after my own heart a) I just read on wikipedia that the first unreleased in NA and PAL King's Field has a fan translation patch. Might be pretty cool to see that. Shadow Tower would also be an interesting LP. b) Did a bit of research and I wonder if the SMT english release on iOS is any good? Atlus apparently localized it. I might download that.

One last dumb post, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl probably with the "Zone Reclaimation Project" just to fix the bugs.

Hi again. I've been watching the Wasteland streams and the animated enemy portraits remind me of a game I played as a kid, also published by EA, called Sentinel Worlds I: Future Magic. Ever heard of it?

KOTOR 1 or 2 would be neat. Bioware games are slow as molasses and I hate them, so this is probably never going to happen. One last dumb post, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl probably with the "Zone Reclaimation Project" just to fix the bugs. I did like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series though so I will do this. Hi again. I've been watching the Wasteland streams and the animated enemy portraits remind me of a game I played as a kid, also published by EA, called Sentinel Worlds I: Future Magic. Ever heard of it? Didn't have a PC until I was in high school, so never heard of this. Looks neat though. I still want to see you play Super Mario RPG. You're in luck; just began recording this.

If you wanted a shorter game to play, I'd suggest trying out "Solar Winds"! That one was an old favorite of mine back in the DOS days.

i dont have any requests mate, but i'd suggest staying away from game with lots of dialog, or newer games (witcher, anything after morrowind, etc). but hey that's just my tastes.
enjoyed a lot landstalker and all that funny puzzle shit with no shadows. i'm watching breath of fire now when i have some time/Before sleeping oh earthbound was really cool too.
